CIONIC Proudly Serves US Veterans With Disabilities

It is an honor to be part of a company committed to changing the lives of people with mobility differences. Recently, we proudly announced we have taken the next step in that mission: expanding our service to US Veterans with disabilities.

The Cionic Neural Sleeve is now listed on Federal purchasing catalogs and available throughout the Veterans Health Administration.

What Does This Mean?

This means that Veterans living with gait challenges due to diagnoses such as multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, stroke, and brain injury have access to the Neural Sleeve if they and their VA health care providers feel it is right for them.

The Veterans Health Administration is the largest integrated healthcare system in the United States, and the CIONIC team is eager to serve the hundreds of thousands of Veterans living with mobility challenges due to neurological conditions.

CIONIC’s Unique Commitment to Veterans With Disabilities and VA Clinicians

The Neural Sleeve is a first-of-its-kind device that combines sensing, analysis, and augmentation to improve walking.

However, developing and providing a transformative device is only part of our commitment to Veterans. We also uniquely serve Veterans and VA clinicians through the CIONIC App.

Our Mobility Specialists can assess a Veteran’s walking video to help determine if they may be a candidate in partnership with the VA provider. When the Veteran receives their Neural Sleeve, the Mobility Specialist can conduct the device onboarding and continued support through virtual appointments. Our team can also join the Veteran and VA clinicians virtually in the clinic if they prefer to have the onboarding conducted there.

These programs are designed to support the Veteran and VA clinical team as effectively and efficiently as possible.

CIONIC Serves

Service to others is a core value at CIONIC. The company was founded by Jeremiah Robison, who believed that there must be better options for his daughter’s cerebral palsy diagnosis than crutches, walkers, and wheelchairs.

This commitment to service is our North Star.

The CIONIC team is both humbled and energized at the opportunity to broaden the availability of the Neural Sleeve across the VHA through our partnership with Lovell Government Services, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business.

We are standing by to help. Visit our CIONIC.com/VA for more information on the device and process to acquire one, and to watch videos of Veteran experiences.
